Android app developer position
Chicago startup Microsensor Labs (www.microsensorlabs.com) has an opening for an Android app developer.
The candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team with expertise in medicine, life science, computer science and engineering. Microsensor Labs is a company that develops novel sensor solutions for healthcare and is currently funded by multiple federal grants. The company is also a member in Chicago-based incubators including Polsky Exchange (Univ of Chicago), Enterpriseworks Chicago (UIC) and MATTER (Chicago’s healthcare incubator in downtown). The candidate will have the access to all the work space, events, mentors, and other resources.
Android IoT/Bluetooth developer (Internship/part-time/full-time)
Familiar with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) APIs on Android and BLE firmware
Familiar with Bluetooth / BLE protocols and networking technologies (Wi-Fi, Ethernet and TCP/IP etc)
Experience with BLE hardware preferred
Understanding of IoT security and cloud API technologies a plus
